The Misconstrue

Doctor: Tan Keng Yean??
Me: Ya. Doc, I am having sore throat and flu
Doctor: Ok, let me check ur body temp n blood pressure first
A moment Later
Doctor: No fever. but your heartbeat rate is fast [hr: 130/min]
Me: So what is the normal heartbeat range?? **getting nervous
Doctor: I recomemd u go for ECG test in room 6. And we ll c the result later
After ECG test
Doctor: The heartbeat is normal, just that the beat rate is too fast
Me: ** Remain silent
Doctor: You are susppect to have THYROID.
Me: ** What ?? Thyroid??
Me: What are the symptoms of getting thyroid?
Doctor: Palpitation, shacky hand, lose weight, trauma..
Me: Ya,ya my hand tremble quite often. But I am gaining weight instead of losing weight.
Me: Is that serious?
Doctor: If untreated there will be critical.
Me: ** rigid worried look
I keep asking question related thyroid as I am so worried.
Doctor: I cant tell u anything now. You are required to do blood test to check is a positive or negative result.

This incident make me worried for the whole night, until i cant fall asleeep. I start to think nonsence.. many if IF ef EF .... over my blank brain.

My brother take the trouble fetch me here and there to go for blood test, seek for another doctor just to prove that whether I am diagnose with thyroid or not. Appreciate all the things my family did for me. Also, thankful to my close friends: ping, fa, pui n ying that concern for me.

Finally the result is out. It's a NEGATIVE result. I am NOT diagnose with thyroid.
Thank god! Finally relief..

Theirs Wedding

Celebration after final exam Y1S1

18 Sept

the last day for final exam =p

having steamboat dinner with my housemate

10 of us in total..
we were afraid that our small living+dining room cant fit all of us
but it does fit all of us..

11am : finish the very last paper- atomic structure! hurray..

1pm: went to tesco with kying and dai ka jie to buy foods

and some necessity for tonight steamboat
4pm: finish our task! with lots of foods loaded into car.. =p

5pm: Prepare to take a nap before dinner. But i cant even close my eyes. Tired!

7pm: Dinner time! Everyone is helping to prepare all those stuff.. blu blu..

Abandon "Qin tong" flavor coz i prefer
tom yam flavor! ;p

this time we r not going for shopping or movie in Ipoh

We are planning something different..

Station 3: soy milk + tau fu fa

No words for that except GREAT. You can enjoy smooth and tasty tau fu fa near the street

Station 4: Salt-steamed Chicken (Yim gouk kai)

This dish is prepared by using paper to wrap one whole chicken together with salt and certain Chinese herbs and double-steamed for several hours. With this cooking technique, the meat will not lose its tenderness and the essence of chicken can be preserved as well. The combination of salt and herbs gives the meat a unique flavor.

There are Still plenty famous local food and delicacy to list out ...

But too bad, we are rushing to catch the last bus.
